2016 - from May

I will be doing a tour when the paperback of How to Fight a Dragon's Fury comes out, which is the week of 19th May 2016. The dates for this will be finalised in early 2016 and then I will put them up here. I will also be doing another live stream event for schools, which will be free to watch and download, and classes can send me questions to answer live on air.

2016 - September

17th September 2016, 11.15am

Cressida will be talking at Chiswick Book Festival

Bestselling author Cressida Cowell talks about the LAST book in the series, How to Fight a Dragon’s Fury, and gives some top tips on becoming an author or illustrator, behind-the-scenes details about how the books became films, and a lesson in Dragonese.

St Michael & All Angels Church Bath Rd, London W4 1TT £3 or with Children’s Festival Pass

Hello mrs. Cowell, your books are amazing...I am 14 and have read many, many books but YOURS are the BEST. What happened to Old Wrinkley, I have grown rather fond of him... I am currently writing a book too. Please come to South Africa, I would really like to meet you, all my friends have grown tired of me talking about how to train your dragon and laugh at some of your writing... This is so awesome that I am talking to you, please reply

Hi there, I am so glad you like the books so much - Old Wrinkly is still there, he is with Stoick and Valhallarama on Tomorrow - it is just that I don't have much room in the books at the moment to talk about him. All best, Cressida

Sincerely Madison. called The Complete Book of Dragons in the U.S. even though it's the same book as the Incomplete - I'm not sure why! So glad you are enjoying the books together, my own favourite is How to Betray a Dragon's Hero, or How to Break a Dragon's Heart (I love the scene where Hiccup first meets the witch, inside the tree trunk).
